I've had an old Indian attache charkha for donkey's years, without ever getting very proficient with it. :( Using these new spindles with the rubber grommet is SO MUCH EASIER than my old, slightly rusty spindles. I'm encouraged to spin more and to revamp the old spindles to work a little more like these new ones. Good product, would totally buy again.

The new charkha spindles are awesome. I am surprised by the rubber gaskets on the spindle plate, which are far superior to the spindles that came with my charkha.
