Besides blue, Japanese indigo also contains kaempferol, a yellow mordant dye. We will explore a range from blue to teal, green, and yellow in the same dyebath, using time and temperature to obtain these colors.
No experience is necessary, but those with some familiarity with Japanese indigo will gain the most.
All materials for dyeing are supplied; bring an apron and gloves.
